What is a digital care package?+
It is a small online collection of personal messages and keepsakes—notes, photos, voice clips, songs, videos and thoughtful links—wrapped into one gift-like page. It is useful when a text feels too brief and a physical parcel is not practical.
Is it really free to create and open?+
Yes. Creating, sharing and opening a Make a Hug package is free. The PayPal button is an optional way to support hosting and future improvements; it does not unlock or restrict your link.
Who can see the package?+
Only people who have its long, unlisted URL. Packages are marked not to appear in search results. A private link is still a link, so share it only with people you trust.
How do I remove something I sent?+
After you create a link, this browser keeps a deletion key in “Your sent hugs.” Use the delete control there to permanently remove the package and uploaded media. Clearing browser storage also clears your copy of that key.
What photo and audio files work?+
Photos and drawings can be JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF up to 4 MB. Voice keepsakes can be WebM, OGG, MP3, M4A or WAV up to 6 MB. The complete package request is limited to 18 MB so it stays friendly on mobile data.
